Nigerian fans are excited and are backing Senegal to beat the Red Lions of England in the first Knock out round of Qatar 2022 World Cup at the Al Bayt Stadium on December 4.
Missing the services of CAF Player of the Year Sadio Mane was painful but the Teranga Lions still went ahead to defeat Qatar and Ecuador to claim six points in the group stage. Their only loss was their opening match to the Netherlands.
Senegal will be meeting an England team is yet to taste defeat in Qatar after they outclassed Wales and Iran and drew goalless against the United States to finish with seven points in the first round.
For the Nigerian fans, missing the world cup was painful but Africa has a wort with three goals. The Red Lions of England will also be be the favorites when they trade tackles with the African champions on Sunday. This did not stop soccer loving Nigerian fans who are backing the West Africans to stun England and make it to their first quarterfinal at the Mundial since 2002.
