If we say boxing in Nigeria has gone comatose, we would have every reason to say so. Currently, the organization of professional boxing in Nigeria is enmeshed in mediocrity and a lack of true professionaism, neither are there professional running the administration of the game.
Despite all these despair and frustrations, young boxing talents keep springing up in the game of self defence. One of them is the young, strong, determine and extremely talented Victor Kadima Stephen freeman,age 19 and hails from Jamaha local government in Kaduna State Nigeria.
Victor is so passionate about this sport that he loves as he competes in the Cruiserweight category, six feet tall and very tactical.
He has competed in several boxing bouts especially Got boxing night where he emerged best boxer and took away the one million naira prize money at stake plus several mouthwatering bout with veteran boxers who couldn't last long as he retired them early. Currently, he is unbeaten in all his professional fight save for one which was a painful draw.
Victor is looking forward to make Nigeria proud like some past world champions like Dick Tiger, samuel Peters and many others competed for world titles and some day move up to the heavy weight division.
