After been part of the Super Eagles team that disappointed millions of Nigerians in the game that saw him. get just nine minutes of action as Nigeria picked four points from their 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe

Victor Boniface scored the second goal in the Bundestag for Bayer Leverkusen in their hard-fought 3-1 win over Bochum at Bay Arena on Friday,
Xabi Alonso made a crazy decision of pairing Victor Boniface with Czech striker Patrik Schick in attack and as
expected, Bayer Leverkusen dominated and got in front in the 20th minute, with a goal scored by Aleix Garcia, which didn’t last long, as Felix Passlack equalized for Bochum in the 26th minute.
Bochum then adopted a new strategy after they scored by sitting deep and waiting for opportunities to catch Leverkusen on the counter. Meanwhile, the game changed in the second half as Leverkusen started to apply more intensity and it took them just 15 minutes to get the lead with Boniface rising to the occasion to bail his team out as he pounced on a square ball from Jeremie Frimpong after a corner and used his laps to guide the ball into the net from close range to make it 2-1.
