Tyson Fury statue ‘sculptured out of Lurpak’ leaves fans baffled as they fume at total ‘waste of money’

The Gypsy King's statue was accompanied by one of UFC legend Francis Ngannou, with a giant golden crown between them that read "Battle of the Baddest".

The promotional initiative was put together ahead of the heavyweights' imminent boxing clash on October 28 in Saudi Arabia.

The match-up has received a mixed reaction as Ngannou has never boxed professionally and some wonder how much competition he can provide for the undefeated Fury.

Many also continue to criticise the Saudi royal family's efforts to cover their dismal human rights record via sportswashing.

However, this time many slammed the latest bit of advertising due to the material used.

Some even feel like the statues were made out of "Lurpak" and see it as a "waste of money".

One fan tweeted: "What a waste of money."

Another commented: "Is that sculptured out of lurpack [sic]?"
