Some memorable moments in Qatar 2022

So many surprises have up since the World Cup started in Qatar couple of weeks ago, from Saudi Arabias cinderella performance against one of the tournament's favorite, Argentina, to Japan beating Germany. As if that's not enough, Morocco defeated perennial underachievers, Belgium in another shocker.

Another aspect of the tournament is the impact of substitutes as  Davy Klaassen came on for Holland against Senegal on the second day of the tournament, just as Enzo Fernandez for Argentina against Mexico.

Alvaro Morata and Niclas Fullkrug came on with huge impact in Spain’s 1-1 draw with Germany to chronicle the huge role substitutes have played in the opening phase.

This has helped managers because they are able to change up to half of their outfield players, so every member of the squad will have  a role to play for his side. So, apparently, the footballing fans should expect more surprises as the tournament keeps progressing.

Olivier Giroud making history by taking the title of France's all time goal scorer after his goal against the Polish team.

Former player and now President of Liberia, George Weah hugging his son who plays for the United State of America for living his dream and even scoring against Wales. For President Weah who has played for PSG, AC Milan and Chelsea and the first and only African to win the Balloon d'or in 1995, it was a dream come through as he also took his son out for dinner to celebrate his world cup debut and goal.

Lionel Messi also hitting a milestone in his 1000th career game as he scored against Australia.
