For one of Africa's greatest players of all time, Samuel Eto'o who has played for great teams in his illustrious footballing career before the metamorphosis into an administrator, it takes gut, belief and uncanny ability for him to trust any manager.
However, it's a different kettle of fish as Eto'o doesn't only trust local coaches to do the job but for now believes that only cameron great, Rigobert Song can get the job done for the Indomitable Lions for now.
If other countries in Africa especially the West African sport administrators can borrow a leaf, even when the results are not looking good, then African coaches can be trusted to do it well. Alioun Cisse of Senegal is a perfect example, and today, they're reaping the fruits.
