However, this is not the case with Interim management body in charge of running Nigeria domestic football league (NPFl) as Davison Owumi, NPFL head of operations who said no tentative date has been fixed.
Owumi said no specific date has been fixed for the kick-off of the 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League season, NPFL, contrary to the reports in some sections of the media that December 1 has been fixed for the kick-off of the new season because NPFL matches are traditionally not played on Thursdays and December 1 is Thursday.
We have some dates in mind which we will announce, after our meetings with all the critical stake holders.
