Despite all that happened between Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United which culminated in his United's contracts been cancelled, Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia is set to make the Portugal Captain the highest earner in sport by offering him a bumper deal worth an eye-watering £173m-per-year which will see him play until the age of 40.
It is already reported that Ronaldo has agreed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Saudi club which will dwarf his perennial rival Messi, Lebron James and Kylian Mbappe who after signing a bumper new PSG deal in May is set to earn £107m-per-year so it is expected that he will feature in the list for 2023.
