Qatar 2022: More injury nightmare for France as Nkunku is ruled out.

France's hope of retaining the world cup title they won in Russia four years ago is going up in implosion due to injuries that have ravaged influential members of the team.

The latest is inform player and hot prospect Christopher Nkunku whose dream of building on the great season he he is having in the Bundesliga is over after picking up an injury in training.

This is another huge blow to Didier Deschamps hope of retaining the title after their successful campaign in Russia back in 2018 as injury has ravaged Les blue of key midfielders like N'Golo Kante, Paul Pogba and others whom Nkunku has now found himself among.

Christopher Nkunku who suffered the injury in France's final training session at the French national football centre ( Clairefontaine) on tuesday after he collided with fellow midfielder Eduardo Camavinga resulting in the RB Leipzig hotshot with the heart break of now missing the tournament.




The French forward has been in superb form this season after scoring 12 goals and 2 assists in 15 Bundesliga games making him the top scorer in the German top flight, also helping RB Leipzig to qualify for the knockout stages of the champions league. Though, he is yet to score for Les Bleus since making his debut in Match this year after racking up 8 caps.
