The Super Eagles of Nigeria's hope of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup was revived (Friday) in Kigali, Rwanda as a first half brace by Victor Osimhen ensured that Nigeria grabbed the Three Maximum Points at Stake.
Throughout the duration of the match at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, the former African Champions ensured that their host did not have any room to trouble them as the Galatasaray forward settled scores against the side that had beaten them 2-1 in November last year in an AFCON qualifier after also playing a lackluster 1-1 with Nigeria in World Cup qualifier in Uyo at the Nest of Champions

Nigeria, With this result, now has six points from five matches with ONE WIN, THREE DRAWS and ONE DEFEAT thereby reviving their hitherto fading WORLD CUP DREAM.
