Gunners Pray for Saka's Recovery: As Real Madrid Tie looms Large

As the champions League tie between Arsenal and Holder, Real Madrid looms large, the desperate prayers at the Emirates Stadium will be to get Bukayo Saka fit to face Los Blancos. It's no longer news that Arsenal Talisman has not played since December after undergoing hamstring surgery.

He pulled up during Arsenal's 5-1 win against Crystal Palace and was forced to go under the knife to fix that issue, which has culminated in him missing the last 19 matches across all competitions , including 12 Premier League matches, and he is not expected to return until April at the earliest. However, with the gunners  having just one more game, the visit of Chelsea on Sunday, before April, Saka could be set to be back in action sooner than anticipated as manager Mikel Arteta has always remained optimistic about Saka's progress and is keen to have him back after the March international break.

Arsenal are out of the FA Cup, so they return with a home match against Fulham on Tuesday, April 1 which is the first of a double-header of Premier League tie within four days. Also, on the card is a trip to Everton on Saturday, April 5 as well.
