Six months can be likened to a whole year for a tennis player, if you put into consideration how bumpy or rosy it can be atimes.
However, what a remarkable six-month it is for French woman Caroline Garcia as she won the WTA Finals with a 7-6 6-4 victory against Aryna Sabalenka in Fort Worth, Texas.
For Garcia who was not in the top 50 in the world rankings as recently as June, but she has enjoyed a superb run of form leading to the biggest title of her career on Monday as the 29 year old defeated Sabalenka in straight sets which is definitely a great one.
With the sweet victory, Garcia is now the second French player to win the WTA Tour's season-ending tournament.
