Callum Hudson-Odoi has been asking team-mate Antonio Rudiger for advice
The 18-year-old asked the Chelsea defender about life playing in Germany
Talented Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi has sought the advice of team-mate Antonio Rudiger about what it is like to play in Germany, the defender has revealed.
Bayern Munich are continuing to pursue a move for Hudson-Odoi in January having initially seen their efforts rebuffed.
But speaking to reporters after defeat by Tottenham on Tuesday, Rudiger revealed the 18-year-old is trying to do his research on life in the Bundesliga, suggesting a move is edging closer.
'He asked me about Germany,' Rudiger said after the 1-0 Carabao Cup loss at Wembley.
'It was a general question from him. He is still young, I can advise him, but at the end of the day he decides about his future.
'You can see it from both sides. He can develop here but he can develop in Germany as well — and don't forget Bayern Munich are also a big club. For his future, I wish him all the best but I just wish he stays with us.'
