Novak Djokovic inches closer to greater immortality.

Novak Djokovic is deeply satisfied by winning a record-equalling sixth ATP Tour Finals title on Sunday despite a troubled year.

The 35-year-old Serb and the oldest player to win the Finals as he ended it in style after a season in which he missed two majors.

He said it was a huge relief because of all he has been through this year, the nine-time Australian Open champions said he doesn't know what the future holds but my hunger is still to win trophy as he celebtates with the trophy after defeating Casper Ruud of Norway in the Nitto ATP Finals at Pala Alpitour on November 20, 2022 in Turin.

The win also yields a cheque of $4.7 million USD ($A7m), came seven years after his last ATP Finals victory and will lift him from eighth to fifth in the men ranking.
