Neymar left Barcelona in 2017 to join PSG for world-record fee of £198million Brazilian forward has continually been linked with move away from Paris

Barcelona are taking steps towards luring Neymar back to the Nou Camp in a shock return from PSG

The Brazilian left the Catalan club to join the Parisians back in 2017 for the staggering world-record fee of £198million.

But his father met with Barcelona representative Andre Cury in Brazil over the winter break to discuss a potential move, according to Catalunya Radio.

This is not the first time these preliminary discussions have taken place and Neymar's father also sat down with Cury in London last November.

Cury is a respected intermediary and was integral to Neymar's move from Santos to Barcelona back in 2013.

Catalunya Radio also report that Israeli agent Pini Zahavi was present for the meetings.

Zahavi assisted in arranging the world-record move from Barcelona and was in the room with Alvaro Costa, who's father Pepe is Barcelona's liaison officer.
