After Rasmus Hojlund, Denmark and Man United striker scored in their 1-0 win over Portugal on Thursday, he celebrated as he copied Cristiano Ronaldo's iconic celebration.

The 22-year-old ran to the corner flag to celebrate with his team-mates, before performing Ronaldo's 'siu' celebration, even as the veteran Portugal star left watching on from the centre circle.


The Danish Striker's goal after coming off the bench to in the first leg of his side's UEFA Nations League quarter-final Match that gave them a one-goal advantage heading into the second leg on Sunday.

Hojlund insisted said he meant no disrespect towards Ronaldo but simply copying his idol. 'He is my idol, I'm not mocking him or anything because he has a lot of importance to me and my football career.


Hojlund's actions was seemingly taken lightly by Ronaldo, he explained that he has no issue with Rasmus Hojlund doing his celebration, because it wasn't out of disrespect, It is not only him who does my celebration around the world, said
Football's all-time top goalscorer even as he cheekily said that he hopes to do his celebration in front of Hojlund on Sunday.
