Burkina Faso 1-3 Senegal: Sadio Mane seals place in AFCON final as his late third kills off underdo

Senegal will play Burkina Faso in their third Africa Cup of Nations final, with Sadio Mane on target to help them win.

VAR awarded two Senegal penalties in an exciting game, with Burkina Faso goalkeeper Herve Koffi hurt during the first.

Senegal took the lead thanks to Abdou Diallo and Idrissa Gueye, but Blati Toure narrowed the gap late on.

Mane, on the other hand, contributed to the tournament favorites' triumph.

It was Mane's 29th goal for Senegal, tying him with Henri Camara for the most goals in the country's history.

In the final on Sunday, Senegal will face either Egypt or Cameroon, the hosts (19:00 GMT).

Burkina Faso will compete in the third-place play-off, which has been moved up a day to Saturday.
